Terms of Use — TeachClock™

Last updated: May 18, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of TeachClock™.

TeachClock is operated by Brightline Tech Group, LLC.

By using TeachClock, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About TeachClock

TeachClock is a simple educational clock app designed to help children learn to tell time.

TeachClock may include features such as:

  • an analog clock display
  • a digital time display
  • spoken time audio
  • AM/PM options
  • timer or alarm sounds
  • app settings for parents, guardians, teachers, or caregivers

TeachClock is intended as a learning aid. It is not a substitute for adult supervision, classroom instruction, professional teaching, or responsible timekeeping in important situations.

2. Adult supervision

TeachClock may be used by children, but it is intended to be managed, reviewed, or supervised by a parent, guardian, teacher, caregiver, or other responsible adult.

Adults are responsible for deciding whether TeachClock is appropriate for a child’s age, needs, learning ability, and environment.

3. Educational use only

TeachClock is provided for general educational and informational use.

TeachClock should not be used for emergencies, safety-critical timing, medication timing, transportation timing, legal deadlines, work deadlines, school attendance requirements, or any situation where inaccurate time display, device failure, audio failure, notification failure, or app unavailability could cause harm, loss, or serious inconvenience.

Use a reliable clock, timer, alarm, calendar, or other appropriate tool for important timing needs.

4. Free use

TeachClock is currently provided free to use.

We may later add an optional way for adults to support the app, such as a voluntary “buy me a coffee” style contribution.

Any future contribution feature will be optional and intended for adults. TeachClock will continue to avoid child-directed pressure to purchase, donate, or pay.

If payment or contribution features are added in the future, these Terms may be updated.

5. No advertising

TeachClock does not currently display third-party advertising.

TeachClock is not intended to use behavioral advertising or advertising profiles directed at children.

If this changes in the future, the Privacy Policy and these Terms will be updated before such features are added.

6. App settings and device behavior

TeachClock may save settings on the device or browser so the app can remember preferences, such as voice selection, AM/PM settings, alarm sounds, timer settings, or similar app options.

The app may depend on the device, browser, operating system, speaker volume, internet connection, storage permissions, cache behavior, and other technical conditions outside our control.

TeachClock may not work the same way on every device, browser, operating system, or app store platform.

7. Audio and voice features

TeachClock may use pre-generated audio files, cloud-hosted audio files, browser audio features, and/or server-side text-to-speech features to provide spoken clock audio.

We try to make the audio helpful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that every voice, phrase, sound, or audio feature will always work perfectly.

Audio may fail, be delayed, be unavailable, be misheard, or behave differently depending on the device, browser, speaker volume, mute settings, network connection, app cache, operating system restrictions, or third-party service availability.

TeachClock does not record a child’s voice and does not use the microphone unless a future version clearly asks for permission and explains why.

8. Accuracy and availability

TeachClock attempts to display and speak time based on the device and app environment.

We do not guarantee that TeachClock will always be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available.

The app may be updated, changed, interrupted, suspended, or discontinued at any time.

Users are responsible for confirming important times using appropriate reliable sources.

9. Privacy

Your use of TeachClock is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Children’s Privacy Notice.
