Privacy Policy — TeachClock™
Last updated: May 18, 2026
TeachClock™ is a simple, friendly clock learning app operated by Brightline Tech Group, LLC.
This Privacy Policy explains what information TeachClock collects, how it is used, and how parents, guardians, teachers, and other users can contact us.
TeachClock is designed to be privacy-friendly. The app does not require a user account, does not ask children to enter their names, does not include advertising, and does not sell personal information.
1. Who we are
TeachClock is operated by:

2. What TeachClock does
TeachClock helps children learn to tell time using a visual analog clock, digital time display, voice playback, and simple timer features.
The app is intended to be used by children with the help or supervision of a parent, guardian, teacher, or caregiver.
3. Information children provide directly
TeachClock is designed so that children do not need to provide personal information.
TeachClock does not ask children to provide:
- name
- email address
- phone number
- home address
- school name
- photos
- videos
- voice recordings
- location
- messages
- account login information
TeachClock does not include chat, social sharing, public posting, or user profiles.
4. Local app settings
TeachClock may save simple settings on the user’s device so the app works as expected.
These settings may include things like:
- selected clock voice
- whether AM/PM is spoken
- selected timer alarm sound
- whether the timer alarm loops
- normal browser or PWA cache files needed to load the app
These settings are stored locally on the device or in the browser. They are used only to make the app remember the user’s preferences.
5. Audio and voice playback
TeachClock may use pre-generated audio files to speak the time.
Our goal is for TeachClock to use audio files that are already generated and stored for playback, so the app does not need to generate a new voice recording each time the clock is used.
TeachClock may load audio files from cloud storage, including Supabase-hosted storage. These files are used to play clock voice audio.
In some cases, if a pre-generated audio file is unavailable or a new voice feature is being tested, TeachClock may use a server-side text-to-speech service to generate audio. When this happens, TeachClock may send the requested clock phrase and selected voice identifier to the voice service provider. For example, this may include a phrase such as “three o’clock” and the selected voice option.
TeachClock does not send a child’s voice recording to a voice provider. TeachClock does not record the child speaking.
6. Technical information
Like most websites and apps, TeachClock and its service providers may automatically process limited technical information when the app loads or when audio files are requested.
This may include:
- IP address
- browser type
- device type
- operating system
- date and time of request
- pages or files requested
- basic security or error logs
This technical information is used for ordinary app operation, security, troubleshooting, hosting, performance, and preventing abuse.
TeachClock does not use this information for behavioral advertising, child profiling, or selling personal information.
7. Support emails
If a parent, guardian, teacher, or other adult contacts us for support, we may receive the information included in that email.
This may include:
- the sender’s email address
- the sender’s name, if included
- the contents of the support message
- any technical details the sender chooses to provide
Support emails are used to respond to support requests and improve the app.
Please do not send children’s personal information through support unless it is necessary to resolve the issue.

TeachClock does not use behavioral advertising.

If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are added.
9. Payments and optional contributions
TeachClock is currently free to use.
If an optional contribution feature, such as a “buy me a coffee” style donation, is added in the future, payment processing would be handled by a payment provider. TeachClock would not store full credit card numbers.
This Privacy Policy will be updated before any payment or contribution feature is added.
10. Third-party service providers
TeachClock may rely on trusted service providers to operate the app.
These may include providers for:
- website or app hosting
- cloud storage for audio files

12. Data retention
TeachClock keeps information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected.
