Children’s Privacy Notice — TeachClock™
Last updated: May 18, 2026
TeachClock™ is a simple clock learning app operated by Brightline Tech Group, LLC.
This Children’s Privacy Notice explains how TeachClock handles children’s privacy. It is written for parents, guardians, teachers, and caregivers.
TeachClock is designed to help children learn to tell time without requiring accounts, child profiles, advertising, social features, or personal information from children.
1. Our children’s privacy approach
TeachClock is designed to be privacy-friendly for children.
TeachClock does not ask children to provide:
- name
- email address
- phone number
- home address
- school name
- photos
- videos
- voice recordings
- location
- messages
- account login information
TeachClock does not include chat, social sharing, public profiles, third-party advertising, or behavioral advertising.
2. No child accounts or child profiles
TeachClock does not require children to create an account.
TeachClock does not create child profiles.
TeachClock does not ask a child to identify themselves.
3. Local settings
TeachClock may remember simple app settings on the device or browser.
These may include things like:
- selected clock voice
- AM/PM voice setting
- selected timer alarm sound
- whether the timer alarm repeats
- normal browser or PWA files needed for the app to work
These settings are used to make the app function properly and remember preferences.
4. Audio and voice features
TeachClock may play pre-generated audio files that speak the time.
Our goal is for TeachClock to use audio files that are already generated and stored for playback, including audio files that may be hosted using Supabase storage.
In some cases, if an audio file is unavailable or a new voice feature is being tested, TeachClock may use a server-side text-to-speech provider to generate audio. When this happens, TeachClock may send the requested clock phrase and selected voice option to the provider. For example, this may include a phrase such as “three o’clock.”
TeachClock does not record a child’s voice.
TeachClock does not send a child’s voice recording to a voice provider.
TeachClock does not use the microphone.
5. Technical information
Like most websites and apps, TeachClock and its service providers may process limited technical information needed to operate the app.
This may include:
- IP address
- browser type
- device type
- operating system
- date and time of request
- files requested, such as app files or audio files
- basic security, hosting, or error logs
This information is used for ordinary app operation, security, troubleshooting, and preventing abuse.
TeachClock does not use this information to build advertising profiles about children.
6. Advertising

TeachClock does not use behavioral advertising.
TeachClock does not sell children’s personal information.
7. In-app purchases and donations

This Children’s Privacy Notice will be updated before any payment or contribution feature is added.
